“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” So says the Epistle to the Colossians (3:16). In this spirit, the Word of Christ Foundation has set itself the goal, in accordance with the wishes of its founder Jürgen Frielinghaus (1936–2019), of disseminating selected words of Jesus Christ.
Jürgen Frielinghaus was particularly concerned with the peace-bringing message of the Sermon on the Mount (cf. Matthew 5–7). Through the use of both digital and analogue media, the words of Jesus Christ are to be presented and made known to a wide audience.
Frielinghaus, who was born in Dortmund and lived on Lake Starnberg until his death, was a qualified mathematician. For almost 30 years, he was entrusted with software-related tasks at a DAX-listed company. Personally moved by the message of the Sermon on the Mount, it was his wish that many people should learn of the peace-bringing message of Jesus Christ.
To this end, Jürgen Frielinghaus founded the Word of Christ Foundation. The foundation is administered by the German Foundation Agency in Neuss.
