When Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he replied: ‘The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way that it can be observed. Nor can one say, “Look, here it is!” or “There it is!” For behold, the Kingdom of God is in your midst.’

(30) Luke 13:34ff.
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you kill the prophets and stone those sent to you. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings; but you were not willing. 35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

(31) Lk 13:28ff.
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are shut out. And they will come from east and west and from north and south and sit down at the feast in the kingdom of God.

(32) Mt 19:28
Amen, I say to you: when the world is made new and the Son of Man takes his seat on the throne of glory, you too, who have followed me, will sit on twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

Amen, I say to you: I shall no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the Kingdom of God.
